So, we have a few of these baby bunting snow suit things and I don't really know what I'm supposed to do with them!  We have a nice Bundle Me in the car seat so she doesn't need a big snow suit and we obviously don't go anywhere without the car seat.  So we decided we'd just put the cute thing on and take some pictures before she grew out of it.  It turned out to be pretty fun!

Grace is loving her new exersaucer and is finally getting strong enough to hold herself up.

Gracie is really getting into eating rice cereal from a spoon.  She's still not quite good enough at sitting in the Bumbo seat so she lays in the Boppy and eats.

We've stopped the Gripe Water in her bottles and are finishing off the Prevacid.  She seems to be doing fine so far so hopefully her tummy will be OK without it.  She's such a happy baby now- it's weird to think that she was so fussy her first couple of months.

Ellie came over today to play while Andrea and Andrew went house shopping.  The three of us had a girls day complete with watching the Miss America Pageant.

Gracie thinks she's a big girl now.  She's trying to hold her own bottle and was successful today!!  Daddy even got a picture of it!

Mama B and Papa Buford came to Des Moines this weekend to see Gracie.  We just lounged around the house and introduced Mom and Dad to the Wii.

We had a fun baby photo shoot today.  Plus Gracie had some rice cereal from a spoon!  It was so fun!

As you can see, Grace has found her feet and she is loving them in her mouth.  EVERYTHING goes in her mouth these days.  Including Red!

Gracie and Red are becoming fast friends (and partners in crime).
Just hanging out on a Saturday...

I was off work today so that I could take Gracie to her 4 month well check.  She's doing great!  She weighs 15 lbs 6 oz and is in the 90th percentile for height.  The doctor said that we are ready to start solid foods so we'll be working on that soon.

After the appointment we went to see Carissa in the hospital at Mercy.  We're happy that she's there and hope she'll be there for a long time cooking that baby!  Gracie just talked and talked and talked.  It was very cute!

Gracie is 4 months old!!  Unbelievable how time flies!  She is so strong now.  She is rolling from her back to her tummy constantly.  (A PT note would look like this  "patient demonstrates independent rolling from supine to prone consistently".)   It's funny what I can learn about brain injury and rehabilitation from watching a baby develop.  I get so excited when my patients are finally able to do this stuff and now I get to watch my daughter do it too.
